Last week it occurred to me how helpful permanent lines would be on my white board. Unfortunately – after several attempts with a sharpie- I realized my lines were not going to be permanent. All kinds of suggestions were posted on the internet;  pin striping tape, cutting your board with a razor, or paint. None of these were to my satisfaction.

Here is my suggestion. Take a Vis a Vis  marker (I used the fine tip) and draw the “permanent” lines on your board. Let it dry for a few seconds. When ready you can write on the board with a regular Expo dry erase marker. The Vis a Vis lines won’t be removed when erasing with the felt eraser unless you spray the board with water or cleaner.
